How to book
To request a booking, email kjfarktattoo@gmail.com or DM via Instagram. When requesting a booking, please include:
a description of your design
approximate size
tattoo placement
2-5 reference photos
If you are getting a script tattoo, check out www.dafont.com for your font type!
Please note, I only tattoo adults 18+ with valid ID. No exceptions.
Tattoo investment
Custom tattoos are at an hourly rate. All available pre-drawn designs will be at a discounted flat rate (contact for details).
$170/hour (includes tax) + $20 supply fee
$100 non-refundable deposit required at the time of booking, which will come off of the final appointment cost (if the tattoo takes multiple sessions, it will come off the cost of the last session)
Minimum rate of $100 + supply fee for tattoos 30 minutes or less
All payment types accepted: cash, debit, credit (3% fee), e-transfer.

Cancellation policy
A minimum of 72 hours' notice is required to reschedule your appointment in order to retain your deposit.
One complimentary reschedule is permitted.
If you provide less than 72 hours' notice, your deposit will be forfeited, and a new deposit will be required to book another appointment.
If you reschedule more than once, your original deposit will be forfeited, and a new deposit will be required to schedule another appointment.
Cancellations, regardless of notice given, without the intention of rescheduling will result in the forfeiture of your deposit.
No-shows will forfeit their deposit and will not be eligible to reschedule.
Why is this policy in place?
When you book an appointment, that time is reserved exclusively for you. Because appointments are held just for one client, last-minute cancellations or changes often cannot be filled, resulting in lost income. This policy helps protect my time and ensures I can continue providing the best service to all of my clients.

You contact me with your design, including approximate size, placement, and some reference photos.
We have a consult via phone, email, or in person (depending on the tattoo concept) to get on the same page and turn your idea into a reality.
We book an appointment date.
You provide a deposit.
I draw up a design and send it to you approximately 2-3 days before your appointment.
Check out the pre-tattoo information sheet to get all the details on what to do and what not to do! After your tattoo is complete, make sure to follow the aftercare instructions to ensure the best possible result.

I charge $170/hour (includes GST) + $20 supply fee. A $100 deposit is required upon booking, which will go toward the final cost of your tattoo. There is a minimum charge of $100 for designs that take 30 minutes or less.
I understand that tattoos are expensive, so if you have a budget and want to know what we can create, reach out and have a chat! We'll find something that works for you, or set up financing so you can get the tattoo you want!

Sure does! Everyone’s pain tolerance is different, and various parts of the body will hurt more/less than others, depending on the person. There’s not much we can do about that, but it’s worth it!
If you do want to use numbing cream, or have questions about it, please discuss with me prior to your appointment.

We go above and beyond to follow all safety protocols. The shop is inspected regularly, and proper safety equipment is used for every client. All materials used are single use disposables. We maintain very strict sanitization practices, and the entire shop gets professionally cleaned on a regular basis!
Proper aftercare is also key to a safe experience. Ensuring you follow aftercare instructions will make for a better heal, and less risk of complications.

Yes! I took up the cruelty free stance long ago and transitioned that into my tattoos. All product purchased are vegan and cruelty free, to the best of my research and knowledge.
There is, however, one exception to this - the medical grade cleaner (cavicide) that MUST be used does not have a cruelty free alternative, unfortunately - but I’ll continue to keep on top of it if another option ever becomes available! -
Tipping is always appreciated but not required. We understand that tattoos are expensive, so any amount you feel inclined to tip is always greatly appreciated!
